Conference Registration

A Notice from SCE: In order to preserve the integrity of our conferences, the Society for Computational Economics will record the names and contact information of conference participants who fail to show up to present their paper or who cancel at the last minute.

Conference Fee

The early registration fee is $350 USD until April 30, 2019. Starting May 1, 2019 the fee will rise to $450 USD.

Current students and recent PhDs (earned November 1, 2018 or later) receive a $100 discount to $250 USD.

Guest tickets for Friday and Saturday evening receptions can be purchased during registration.

All participants, including those who were invited by members of the program committee to submit a paper, are expected to pay the full fee. One-day registration is not available. Payments will be accepted by credit card, check, international wire transfer or ACH transfer.

The registration fee includes:

• registration social on Thursday afternoon

• welcome reception on Friday evening at Bank of Canada

• SCE 25th Anniversary reception on Saturday evening at Carleton University

• lunches on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

• coffee breaks

• admission to all sessions

• conference materials

• one-year membership to the Society for Computational Economics

Participants who wish to present a paper must register and pay fees by April 30, 2019.  On May 1 presenters who have not registered will be removed from the program.

Refund policy for registration fees

• Cancellation on or before April 30, 2019: Forfeit US $100; balance of prepayment will be refunded

• Cancellation between May 1 and June 1, 2019: Forfeit US $200; balance of prepayment will be refunded

• Cancellation after June 1, 2019: no refund

Registration can be done either with this link, or by logging in to Conference Maker. Either method is fine! Presenters' registration will be reconciled to their talk off-line, and there is no problem if Conference Maker does not indicate that registration was submitted from this website.
